Director General, and one of the founders of the Panos Institute West Africa since 2000. She was the Director of the Sahel Program, then of West Africa, and later of the Panos Paris Institute, based in Paris. Prior to Panos, she worked as a researcher in anthropology at the Fundamental Institute of Black Africa (University of Dakar, Senegal), and a journalist and editor-in-chief of two West African regional magazines. She holds a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne, and two Masters degrees (Philosophy and Cultural anthropology, University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne and Paris VII Denis Diderot). Diana Senghor has been, and is, a member of the Board of Directors of various development institutions.
