Uneven and unregulated development contributes as much to maintain the marginalization and domination of Africa facing the acceleration of globalization as to strengthen and operate within African countries the exclusion of a majority of their citizens.
With regard that, PIWA gives priority to the nature and effects of international conventions on:
• Trade: especially relations and trade agreements between Europe and Africa (Economic Partnership Agreement) and between China and Africa.
• Extractive Industries: especially agreements between multinational corporations and African states.
• Migrations: especially between the Sahel countries, Europe and the transit countries (Morocco, Algeria).
On these issues, PIWA wants to promote professional, investigative and analytic journalism and as well as facilitate the expression of social groups which are particularly affected by national political answers to these global issues.
